Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. August-Wilhelm Scheer

Professor August-Wilhelm Scheer, founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IDS Scheer AG and imc AG, headed the Institute of Information Systems he founded at the Saarland University from 1975 to 2005. He is a member of the Senate of Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the largest organization for applied research in Europe. Furthermore, he is President of the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM), Vice-President of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and he was a member of the Council for Innovation and Growth of the Federal Government from 2006 to 2008.

Dr. Wolfram Jost

Dr. Wolfram Jost, born in 1962, has been a member of the Executive Board since October 2000. He is responsible for the ARIS product line worldwide. He holds a doctorate in business administration and joined IDS Scheer in 1992 to manage ARIS product development and strategy. He was named managing director in 1994. His area of responsibility is product strategy, research and development as well as global product services.

David Norton

In his role as research director with Gartner's application development and architecture team, David Norton supports clients by developing and delivering quality and timely research.

In his previous job, Mr. Norton researched and implemented IT architecture frameworks and associated development methods to ensure business and IT alignment, enable flexibility and maintain the IT value-add.

Dr. Florian Langenscheidt

Dr. Florian Langenscheidt, born 1955 in Berlin, is publisher, author, entrepreneur and business angel. Moreover he is the founder (1994) and chairman of the international children’s organisation “CHILDREN FOR A BETTER WORLD”, member of the WWF’s board of trustees, founder and partner of the “German Children and Youth Foundation” and much more. He is author of different books like “Glück mit Kindern”, “100x Mut. Beispielhaftes fürs dritte Jahrtausend” or “Von Liebe, Freundschaft und Glück”. His latest book is a „Dictionary of Optimism“ and has become a bestseller as an answer to the financial crisis.
