Evening-Event
The ceremonial opening of the Kosmos movie theater took place in 1961. With 1001 seats, it was the largest, most modern and most popular movie theater in the former East Germany. February 1998 saw the history-steeped theater taken over by UFA. The theater, which was painstakingly modernized in line with preservation orders, is less than two minutes by car from Alexanderplatz. The incomparable charm of this protected building and the extensive remodeling work it has undergone provide the perfect ambience for a magical evening.
